HUDUD Carbon Road Bike Crankset
CrankThe Hudud Carbon Road Bike Crankset is a lightweight carbon crankset available in 165mm length with 110x4 spider configuration. Users report it has a listed weight of 309g +/-10g but actual measured weight was 318g. The spindle features innovative weight reduction design with a larger bore diameter between threaded ends. The carbon finish is described as nice satin with visible weave and simple branding. However, significant compatibility issues exist with Shimano chainrings, particularly with the spider diameter being incorrect (95-96mm vs Shimano's 94mm), preventing proper fitment of DA chainrings. The vendor has been unresponsive in resolving this issue over several weeks.
AI Summary
Pros
- Lightweight design with carbon construction and innovative spindle bore for weight reduction
- Nice carbon finish with satin appearance and visible weave
- Good machining quality with decent spindle measurements (23.98-23.99mm on bearing seats)
Cons
- Spider diameter is incorrect for Shimano chainrings (95-96mm vs required 94mm)
- Vendor unresponsive and unresolved compatibility issues over several weeks
- Spider to crank spline fit is loose, though may not cause issues in practice
Key Points
- 165mm length with 110x4 spider

EASEDON Ultra Light 32mm Wide 25mm Inner Gravel Carbon Rim Ratchet Bicycle Wheel 30/35/40/45/50/55/60/65mm Deep Road Bike Tubeless T1000
WheelsFor tubeless gravel I'd go hookless! I much prefer the squared tire profile of a hookless rim. Handling-wise it just feels stiffer on cornering and I can push harder on the turns. You'll never run 45c tires beyond 40psi. Mounting a gravel tire onto a hookless rim is even harder than a hooked rim. Unless you're doing 30 foot plus hard drops, that tire will never come off. Even with wide internal width rim, a hooked rim will still have a bulbous tire profile. Road is a different matter, but for wide profile gravel tires I think hookless is great.

LT Bikes Super Light Carbon Full Integrated Molding Road frameset LTK266-D--SL
FrameThe LongTeng LTK266-D-SL is an open-mold, super-lightweight road bike frame with a claimed T1100/T1000/M65 carbon blend, designed for versatile riding including light gravel and road. It features a T47 internal bottom bracket, UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger), and clearance for up to 35mm tires with 6mm of clearance. The frame is praised for its low weight (around 760g for the frame, 325g for the fork), modern geometry similar to race bikes like the Tarmac SL8, and high value for money, typically costing $800-$950 delivered. Users report a 'delightfully boring' ride feel—responsive, comfortable, and stable, with reliable mechanical performance and no issues like seatpost slippage or creaking in long-term use for many. However, some quality control issues include poor-fitting components like the headset, thin paint prone to scratching, and a stock seatpost clamp that may not hold the saddle securely, requiring aftermarket replacements. Additionally, LongTeng does not offer a setback seatpost option. The ordering process can involve communication delays, but recent shipments have been progressing; XL and XXL sizes are now in stock as of April 2026. The weight limit for the frameset is approximately 100 kg. Build weights can be impressively low, with examples of 6.7 kg, 6.9 kg, and even 6.76 kg (size S, no paint). Some users have encountered issues such as a front derailleur hanger missing the necessary hole, lack of grommet for the FD cable exit (5mm round hole), larger-than-normal fork/headtube gap, and uneven rear brake mounts requiring shims. Despite these warts, the frame offers excellent value and performance for those willing to address minor component upgrades. Overall, it's a solid all-rounder for the price, offering an easy assembly experience for first-time builders, though attention to component upgrades may be needed.
AI Summary
Pros
- Lightweight construction with high-end carbon blend (T1100/T1000/M65), frame around 760g and fork 325g

ELITEWHEELS EDGE Ultralight 1314g Road Disc Carbon Wheelset 40 45 50 65mm Ratchet System 36T HUB Wing 20 Spoke For Racing Bike
WheelsThe ELITEWHEELS EDGE wheelset is discussed primarily in the context of noise issues, particularly creaking or clicking sounds from the rear wheel under high torque or power output (above 200-250W), often during uphill climbs or low cadence situations. Users report isolating the noise to the rear wheel through component swaps, with potential causes including the cassette (especially with certain brands like Goldix), spokes touching each other, or hub/bolt issues. Some users note the noise appears more frequently on hotter days. The wheels are compared to similar models like Yuanan wheels, and troubleshooting involves checking the bottom bracket, seat post, pedals, and through axle torque as alternative noise sources.
AI Summary
Cons
- Rear wheel creaking or clicking noise under high torque/power output (above 200-250W), especially during uphill climbs or low cadence
- Noise potentially caused by cassette issues (e.g., with Goldix cassettes), loose bolts, or poor tolerances
- Spokes touching each other identified as a possible source of noise by bike mechanics

San Marco Aspide Carbon Road Bike Saddle Men Women Bicycle Saddle Comfort Mountain Bike Cycling Seat Carbon Rails Bicycle Parts
Saddle
The reviewer discusses a saddle they refer to as the 'San Marco Speed or Espite', which is likely a mispronunciation or misreading of the 'San Marco Aspide'. They analyze it as the second saddle in their comparison of five carbon saddles from AliExpress. They note it has proper branding, which gives them more confidence. The build quality is described as having the seat material glued onto the saddle rim, similar to the first, cheaper saddle, which could be a long-term issue. However, it makes no cracking noises and is described as a lot stiffer in all directions than the first saddle, inspiring more confidence. The comfort is described as pretty similar to the first saddle, being a long-nose design, which the reviewer personally prefers less than short-nose saddles. It has a pressure relief channel. The weight is 118g, and the price was about $25 USD. The reviewer gives it a rating of 2.5 out of 5.
