The reviewer mentions the Sensah brand several times throughout the video, but does not specifically discuss the 'SENSAH EMPIRE HRD 2x11s Road Bike Hydraulic Disc Brake Front Derailleur Rear Derailleur Carbon Shifter Bike Parts' as a complete, named group set. They refer to Sensah group sets in general, sharing tips applicable to them and other cheaper groupsets from brands like LTwoo. Specific mentions include that Sensah shifters can rattle, that Sensah hydraulic groupsets use mineral oil, that the bleed port on Sensah shifters is recessed and at a funny angle, and that Sensah front derailleurs lack a built-in tension adjustment screw.

AI Summary

Cons

  • The reviewer states that Sensah shifters can rattle, a common issue with cheaper shifters.
  • They mention that the bleed port on the Sensah shifter is recessed quite far and at a funny angle, making bleeding trickier.
  • They note that Sensah front derailleurs do not have a built-in tension adjustment screw, requiring an inline barrel adjuster on the cable run.

Key Points

  • Sensah groupsets use mineral oil for hydraulic brakes, not DOT fluid.
  • The bleeding process for Sensah hydraulic groupsets is broadly the same as Shimano but may require different adapters due to thread sizing and port location.
  • Sensah rear derailleurs tend to use a slightly older design with a standard hanger bolt, requiring a larger cable loop for optimal shifting.

I've been using the Rockbros socks for about a years now. I have a pair in each colour offered. I find them very durable. I use them for running too. My first pair, in black, has probably been through the wash 20 times and is still in good shape! I had very little faith in them when I first ordered, and thought what can I lose for £2ish. I just thought they were too cheap to be any good, but I've been very pleasantly surprised.

Quick Pro GR:ONE – Review and Winter Test Ride
00:09:12

The reviewer built their dream gravel bike using the QUICK PRO GR:ONE frameset. They discuss several features and experiences with it. They note the seat post cutout provides noticeable flex and contributes to a comfortable ride at the rear. They mention the frame's tire clearance, stating the 44mm Tufo Thunderos inflate to about 46.5mm, which is near the maximum the frame can take, and express a slight desire for the option of wider tires. A significant initial issue was the lack of a zero-offset seatpost option, which they later solved by installing a zero-offset seatpost from Quick's AR:ONE model, though it lacks the matching spread-tow weave and the compliance cutout. They praise the bike's overall ride quality, describing it as comfy, fun, fast, and a machine they want to spend all day on. The complete build, including this frameset, is noted to be lighter than comparable complete bikes in the same price range.

AI Summary

Pros

  • The seat post cutout provides noticeable flex and contributes to rear comfort.
  • The frame offers good tire clearance (accommodates ~46.5mm tires).
  • The bike rides brilliantly and feels fast.

+3 more

Cons

  • The reviewer's biggest initial issue was the lack of a zero-offset seatpost option from the manufacturer.
  • The available tire clearance, while good, leaves little room for wider tires, and the reviewer would have liked the option for more.
  • The zero-offset seatpost they sourced as a solution (from the AR:ONE) does not match the frame's spread-tow weave finish and lacks the compliance cutout of the original.

Key Points

  • Features a seat post with a cutout designed for compliance/flex.
  • Maximum tire clearance is approximately 46.5mm.
  • Did not originally come with a zero-offset seatpost option.

+11 more

Cons

  • Expresses curiosity about whether the two side pieces of the 3D structure might detach easily with use.
  • Mentions that the more ventilated model from San Rimon was at the bottom of a ranking in Cycling News tests, partly due to its shape (though this is not specifically about the CS-43).
  • Notes they haven't seen wind tunnel test results for this specific CS-43 model.

Key Points

  • Model: CS-43, color Total White.
  • Brand: San Rimon, a Chinese brand used by teams like Quick Pro and China Glory.
  • Key Technology: 3D Grid, a proprietary safety system similar to MIPS or Multipod.

Hello! I received my frame today and can confirm that a size L weighs 1,620 g, and the fork comes in at 420 g. It arrived with thru-axles and a hanger, but no headset, seatpost, or clamp. The frame itself appears to be of satisfactory quality, but the fork has a few rough edges.

Hi I have two in use a 27.2 and 31.6 mm several thousand miles on each , rain and rough roads. So far so good only suggestion would be at the clamping area use Teflon paste or a good grease on the carbon to carbon interface. I had a little creaking on the 27.2 the Teflon paste worked well never touched it again.

Recently I found these Rockbros pedals with titanium spindle. Roughly 51 USD with coins and the current BF sale. Claimed weight is 180 g for both pedals, so very keen to try these out. I am happy with my current LFK pedals, but I am always trying to push the weight down as much as I can (not on myself tho lol). They are probably from the same factory as the Kinan ones, they look the same to me.

Velobuild VB-R-368

Velobuild VB-R-368

Frame
Velobuild VB-R-368 Aeroframe

The Velobuild 2026 VB-R-368 AeroTrace Frame is a Chinese direct-to-consumer aero road bike frame characterized by its deep, chunky tube profiles, aggressive geometry, and TT-like aesthetic. It uses T800 carbon fiber, with a quoted frame weight of around 1100g for a medium size, though actual user reports show weights significantly higher, often 1300-1500g depending on size and finish. It features a T47 bottom bracket, UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) standard, and clearance for up to 32c tires. The geometry is described as progressive, with a steep seat tube angle and long reach in larger sizes, aiming for a forward, aero riding position. The frame includes a proprietary headset system that requires specific spacers or 3D-printed adapters for most cockpits, and it comes with a thick, TT-style seatpost with an adjustable fore/aft clamp.

AI Summary

Pros

  • Aggressive, forward-leaning geometry with steep seat tube angle and long reach (especially in larger sizes) is praised for enabling an aero position.
  • Unique, bold aero design with deep tube sections that many users find visually appealing and 'fast-looking'.
  • Surprisingly comfortable ride quality, with the deep carbon tubes providing good vibration damping.

+2 more

Cons

  • Frame weight is significantly higher than quoted; real-world weights are often 1300-1500g+, making it heavy for an aero frame.
  • Proprietary headset and spacer system is awkward, limits cockpit options, and the implementation (especially early spacers) is criticized as ugly or poorly designed.
  • Widespread issue with seatpost slipping, even at high torque, requiring fixes like grip tape, epoxy, or shims.

+3 more

Key Points

  • Material: T800 Carbon Fiber (T1000 mix planned for future)
  • Quoted Frame Weight: ~1100g (M) - Actual often 1300-1500g+
  • Bottom Bracket: T47

Spcycle R088

Spcycle R088

Frame
Spcycle New Mold SP-R088 Carbon Road Frame

The Spcycle R088 is a lightweight carbon road bike frame, often described as an SL8 clone, available in various paint finishes including raw UD carbon, metallic colors, and custom options. Typical frame weights range from 780g (unpainted) to over 900g (painted), with a 52cm raw glossy frame reported at 790g and a 56cm chameleon painted frame at 904g. Recent builds show a 54cm metallic frame at 870g and a 58cm naked matte frame at 915g. The frame uses a BSA threaded bottom bracket, flat mount disc brakes (compatible with 140mm or 160mm rotors, requiring an adapter for 160mm rear), and features a UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger). It includes a D-shaped seatpost (available in 0mm or 15mm offset options) and is designed for internal cable routing, supporting both electronic and mechanical groupsets, with a front derailleur braze-on mount. Builders note it offers good value, with complete builds often weighing around 7-7.5kg and costing under €1,500-2,000. Recent feedback highlights that the stock seatpost clamp can become stuck, requiring a mallet for adjustments, but it ensures secure saddle retention without slipping. Some users report a wobbly or flexy feeling from the handlebar area, similar to GCN's findings, but many find it does not affect actual riding stability; switching to a separate stem/handlebar (e.g., FSA SMR) can improve stiffness. Tire clearance is confirmed to fit Continental GP5000 tires in 30mm and 32mm widths, with one user fitting a 35.5mm wam rear tire with minimal clearance. A recurring issue is a rhythmic knocking sound while seated and pedaling, which can stem from crankset play, loose thru-axles, battery movement in the seat tube, or the seatpost clamp, often resolved by tightening components or applying grease. The frame is commonly purchased through Aliexpress or direct seller contact, with users reporting good communication and after-sales service. Some builders recommend replacing the stock seatpost wedge and cover with SL8-compatible parts for better fit and finish. Paint quality remains inconsistent: some frames have imperfections around the headset or are sensitive to scratches (especially matte finishes). The supplied UDH may be poorly machined and require replacement. Integrated handlebar choices vary; some users find Kocevlo bars too flexible, while others report success with various Aliexpress bars. A creaking noise when pedaling at high power can often be fixed by replacing the bottom bracket or tightening chainring bolts. Overall, the R088 offers excellent value and performance, with a ride quality very close to the genuine SL8.

AI Summary

Pros

  • Lightweight and good value for money, with builds often under 7.5kg and costing significantly less than branded alternatives.
  • Versatile for building, supporting both electronic and mechanical groupsets, and offering UDH, threaded BSA, and multiple seatpost/handlebar options.
  • Provides a comfortable and responsive ride, praised for climbing agility and stable descents.

+7 more

Cons

  • Common headset assembly issues, including play, loose expander plugs, and gaps with the C-ring, requiring fixes like longer plugs or sanding.
  • Frequent front derailleur mount misalignment, often requiring shimming (e.g., with credit card or rubber) for proper adjustment.
  • Inconsistent paint quality and minor imperfections, such as overspray on brake mounts or rough internal surfaces.

+9 more

Key Points

  • Frame weight (unpainted): ~780g ±50g
  • Fork weight: ~390g ±10g
  • Seatpost options: 0mm or 15mm offset

I took my R088 on our local Hollywood Sign climb route. It climbed and descended like a champ. Also the 0° setback seat post has made this bike even better with perfect saddle positioning. Seriously, I have zero complaints with this frame. For the price and configuration flexibility is there a better bang-for-buck carbon frameset? You can run electronic or mechanical, setback or no-setback seat post and integrated or non-integrated bars. Plus there's UDH, threaded BSA and standardized 52mm headset bearings.

I had huge fun replacing almost all the nuts & bolts on my bike(s) with titanium ones. I mostly stuck to the brands Taimeili, Wanyifa and XMSJ Titanium Accessories. Through spark testing I can confirm it's at least *a* type of titanium alloy (bright white sparks), and nothing failed until now, so maybe it's actually grade 5. Adding everything up, I was able to save around 58g on one bike through titanium bolts for ~115€ (using coins and Choice Day-/Singles Day-/Black Friday-coupons)

The Moment Winspace Stopped Being OEM and Became a Real Race Bike Brand
00:14:26

The reviewer has used the Winspace T1600 as his primary race and training bike for approximately seven months, covering around 6,000 kilometers. He states the bike has been completely faultless, raced in Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK, and tested in a wind tunnel. The frame is described as extremely sensitive to wheel choice, and the integrated handlebars are highlighted as a significant source of aerodynamic gains. The build quality is praised as flawless, and the bike is noted for being extremely stiff. The reviewer mentions the bike comes as a frameset including the fork, handlebars, stem, and seat post, with the rest being bolt-ons. He also discusses the bike's geometry, noting the XL size has a longer top tube than expected.

AI Summary

Pros

  • Completely faultless over 6,000 km of use
  • Extremely stiff frame
  • Flawless build quality

+5 more

Cons

  • Frame geometry can be tricky, with the XL size having a longer top tube than the labeled 540 size suggests
  • The frame is extremely sensitive to wheel choice; a wide tire and wheel combination can increase drag more than the rolling resistance benefit
  • The reviewer is not totally convinced the winglets provide a significant aerodynamic benefit

Key Points

  • Used as a race and training bike for ~7 months and ~6,000 km
  • Frameset includes fork, handlebars, stem, and seat post
  • Bottom bracket is BB T47 / T47 with an 86.5mm shell
