Can These Chinese Carbon Wheels Make My Bike Sub 8kg? - Aim One SL1200
JUNONFIT
January 25, 2026
Can a wheel swap alone take my road bike from 8.3kg to sub-8kg?
Today I test the MovingSports Aim One SL1200 50D (50mm) carbon wheels, a new Chinese brand, 1265g claimed and reveal the final weigh-in.
I didn’t think I’d care about a number like this… but once you’re close, it starts to mess with your head. This build has been sitting at 8.3kg, and I kept coming back to the same question: can one wheel swap get it under 8kg without changing anything else?
Disclosure: The wheels were sent to me by MovingSports for testing. I was not paid, and all opinions are my own. No review/approval of this video was done by them beforehand.
