I have previous experience with L-Twoo groupsets. I much prefer the feel of the eGr shifters compared to the eR9...they have a far more tactile feel to the shift buttons, and the hoods are slightly chunkier (I find eR9 hoods a little too narrow). I went with a 46T max on the rear as that is the max stated capacity of the eGr. I _think_ it could take something bigger, but I don't really feel a need for it...42-46 is a far more generous gear than I'm used to.

The LTWOO eGR 1x12s is an electronic gravel groupset with hydraulic disc brakes, using mineral oil and 14500 batteries. It supports 10-12 speeds with an official max cassette size of 46T, though users report compatibility with 50T cassettes. The MSRP is around 3500 RMB (~$500), but actual prices vary from $300-$650. It includes shifters, rear derailleur, brake calipers, seatpost battery, and cables. Users note smooth shifting, good brake performance, and app customization, but report issues with water ingress, charging reliability, and inconsistent battery life. The groupset is considered good value but with beta-testing quality and poor customer support.

How is the waterproofing and has it been improved?

Early versions had water ingress issues in the rear derailleur. Newer versions claim improved waterproofing, but users still recommend sealing connectors with dielectric grease, liquid electrical tape, or heat shrink tubing.

Can I use both shifters for rear derailleur control?

No, the left shifter buttons are currently non-functional in 1x setup. LTWOO has considered adding configuration options but no update yet.
