XMCS T1100 26IW 16/18H Carbon Spoke

I would like to present another wheeset from Peter. This is my second, previously I had 35 mm depth. For that time I decided to go with: - 16/18H - D40CU-33 26mm internal - 3.2mm super light carbon spokes - XDR driver - black hub. Maybe this is not the lightest wheelset ever, however, for 40 mm depth with 26 mm internal, the total weight is 1055 g so...ultralight. Those looking great, on real even better! The rims are very wide, I love that! I put TPU tube, tape on each wheel and Continental Tire Archetype so 30 mm TL tire. For now the whole set is 1678 g. Then you can add 401 g (85+72+232+6+6) and we have ~2080 with full wheels with cassette! Easily you can go down using lighter tires ~50 g each. I didn't ride on it yet, but as always I can fully recommend the purchase. Great communication, great knowledge, good advices and quick shipment! I'm more than happy!

I got them in September of last year. I have a set of the ultra light rims with 16 and 18 carbon spokes. I’ve ridden them on rough trails, bombed then down mountains, and packed them tight in bike boxes to fly. No issues. Still true. The layup is thin. You can squish it on the sides with your hand. However, in the vertical plane, they are incredibly stiff and sturdy. The tension on the spokes is very tight, and pulling the layup at an angle. I’m not surprised it deforms the inside of the rim a bit. I’m not very concerned about anything catastrophic, and I’d guess Peter would take care of me if I had a problem due to an engineering or manufacturing issue

Hi, referring to the post above. I have wheels from Peter since april, 35 mm rim, external 33 mm, 26 mm internal, XDR hub, 1095 g, simply the best! I have Conti Archeotype 30 mm on it, and that set is amazing! Rode almost 10k km, no issues, wheels are stiff, comfortable, no problems! I tested them on: 1. climbing during Ultrafondo The Everest so more than 260 km and more than 9200 m up during one event, 2. on Mallorca 3. some local climbs and our Polish mountains, and descents were I felt very confident. All of that with 30mm tires and I really can notice the difference! Fully and 100% satisfied and happy!
