During these latest sales I picked up a Mixed 5D carbon saddle for less than $25. I have to say, I'm quite impressed with it. It fits me a little more comfortably than the last Ryet I picked up (which was a big reason I bought it, because I was a little disappointed in that Ryet). I guess I now have an entire fleet of chinese carbon saddles. If I had to rank them for my personal comfort, this is my ranking: #1 - Ryet X6P (carbon / 3d printed top) [note: I love this saddle. It fits me perfectly and I feel almost no discomfort even after finishing a century] #2 - Mixed 5D (carbon / eva top) #3 - Ryet (idk Superflow?, maybe) (carbon / eva top) #4 - Ryet Aircode (carbon / 3d printed top) I should point out, I've ridden century rides in every single one of those saddles (except the Mixed 5D, since I just rode with it for the first time this weekend). My oldest, the original Ryet Aircode, is the funniest one to me, because I find it rather uncomfortable for short rides. After 10-20miles my butt is a little sore and I would wonder why I hadn't removed it from my bike yet. Then, after 20mi, it just stopped bothering me. Every. Single. Time. I've never experienced anything like that. Of course, I did eventually remove it, because those other ones start out more comfortable and stay more comfortable.

Cassette

For all here who doubt. I run the half ti cassette together with a rotor crank. I run this already 5k and not one bad shift ! I have no comparison with other stuff like Recon. Honestly I don't feel any different then a da cassette. But those da stamped cassettes are soft as hell. Sixwheels aka ti master sells other stuff too. Compared to stock stuff those things are pieces of art. Da looks cheap to that stuff. Their axles are a thing of beauty and are half the weight and don't rip above 20nm. The Ti master axles initially at 29gr where so strong that they broke the hub (50nm) The direct mount hangers fit like a glove. Or check the 1.4gr rear derailleur bolt. Maybe you can ask long term member rhino here what he thinks about Evan's stuff He buys them with the container so to speak ... As far as I have been told the shift ramps are not 1-1 copies at all as it would idd be a patent infringement I almost sound like a reseller But for me and a few mechanics who have seen this stuff irl now they all are impressed with the craftsmanship. It's a costly affair but I will replace all my stuff on my other bike as soon as my da cassette is worn out ... takes like 25k km before I can do so But of course everyone is free to decide it's not even close to say what s parts or frames and gears sells

This Ryet RS OSPW is actually really good because it has properly sealed bearings. I've done about 1000km often on wet and dirty roads with it now and it spins like new without any need for oiling and stuff. I didn't open or measure the bearings but they looked like some standard sealed bearings from the outside.

I've had this on my gravel bike for 2 years. No electrical tape, no additional loctite (there might've been some from the factory) and it holds perfectly. It looks clean and I can put the bike in the workstand without the radar being in the way. One of my favourite little bike accessories.

Did my first ride today (~72km) and I'm really happy with the result. It's comfortable, has lots of grip and is feels quick. But I don't have any data to back that up. I simply believe the latest research which shows that... • wider tires reduce rolling resistance • increasing comfort through greater air volume as suspension minimizes rider fatigue And all of that without compromising performance. The widths match quite nice according the 105%-rule (42mm outer rim width; 39.5mm tire width). The Michelin Pro 5 tires have an unmounted tread width of 45mm, which is even more than the Pirelli P Zero 40-622 at 42mm. This means that even when stretched, the risk of running off the tread is reduced. Regarding ETRTO compliance: I don't really like the concept of regulatory documents being behind a paywall. Additionally, it seems that bicycle tire standards are outdated and not up to current requirements. The complexity also exceeds that of car/motorcycle tire standards. While ETRTO is indeed a technical institution with regulatory purposes and its importance is highly regarded in various forums, threads, and Reddit discussions, this apparently doesn't tell the whole story. This article provides valuable insights: The most prominent example of deviating from ETRTO standards is SRAM/Zipp. They allow a 40mm tire on their 303 XPLR wheels (32mm inner width rim) through their 'dual testing' approach, far from ETRTO standards.

I got this jersey here. With a undershirt and a gilet been good for about -5C It’s got long arms and tight hems. Long enough for me and quite snug which I like. The color is a bit muted. I’m 193cm and 78kg with a 102 cm chest. Went with a European L as per size chart. Could’ve been an XL for looser fit.

Just to give you some peace of mind regarding the build quality: I honestly didn't run into any of those brake issues you mentioned. I consider myself a bit of a mechanical 'noob,' yet I managed to align the calipers perfectly on the first try without needing to face the mounts or use special tools. It was good to go out of the box. As for reliability, I've logged nearly 5,000km on this frame so far and taken it absolutely everywhere. It has survived various Gran Fondos and I even took it up the Colle delle Finestre—if you look up that route, you'll see it's a brutal climb with heavy unpaved/gravel sections at the top. The frame handled it without a problem. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. The only slight pity is the total absence of logos/branding, but performance-wise, it's been solid.

I've been using the Rockbros socks for about a years now. I have a pair in each colour offered. I find them very durable. I use them for running too. My first pair, in black, has probably been through the wash 20 times and is still in good shape! I had very little faith in them when I first ordered, and thought what can I lose for £2ish. I just thought they were too cheap to be any good, but I've been very pleasantly surprised.

Hello! I received my frame today and can confirm that a size L weighs 1,620 g, and the fork comes in at 420 g. It arrived with thru-axles and a hanger, but no headset, seatpost, or clamp. The frame itself appears to be of satisfactory quality, but the fork has a few rough edges.

Hi I have two in use a 27.2 and 31.6 mm several thousand miles on each , rain and rough roads. So far so good only suggestion would be at the clamping area use Teflon paste or a good grease on the carbon to carbon interface. I had a little creaking on the 27.2 the Teflon paste worked well never touched it again.

Recently I found these Rockbros pedals with titanium spindle. Roughly 51 USD with coins and the current BF sale. Claimed weight is 180 g for both pedals, so very keen to try these out. I am happy with my current LFK pedals, but I am always trying to push the weight down as much as I can (not on myself tho lol). They are probably from the same factory as the Kinan ones, they look the same to me.

I took my R088 on our local Hollywood Sign climb route. It climbed and descended like a champ. Also the 0° setback seat post has made this bike even better with perfect saddle positioning. Seriously, I have zero complaints with this frame. For the price and configuration flexibility is there a better bang-for-buck carbon frameset? You can run electronic or mechanical, setback or no-setback seat post and integrated or non-integrated bars. Plus there's UDH, threaded BSA and standardized 52mm headset bearings.

I had huge fun replacing almost all the nuts & bolts on my bike(s) with titanium ones. I mostly stuck to the brands Taimeili, Wanyifa and XMSJ Titanium Accessories. Through spark testing I can confirm it's at least *a* type of titanium alloy (bright white sparks), and nothing failed until now, so maybe it's actually grade 5. Adding everything up, I was able to save around 58g on one bike through titanium bolts for ~115€ (using coins and Choice Day-/Singles Day-/Black Friday-coupons)

These are the most 'bike specific' ones, other than that, I've ordered some regular nuts & bolts (e.g. countersunk screws, regular nuts or panhead screws) for various things like computer mounts, ahead caps and so on...
