Hi guys thought I'd post my experience with BIKEDOC DX28 Carbon Disc Wheel trading as Synergy (Xiamen) Import and Export Co as there are not many modern disc wheel designs for rim brake bikes around. I contacted a few different manufacturers/sellers and settled on BIKEDOC as they have some good reviews and designs. The lady I dealt with was Menly who was very helpful and was able to provide specs close to what I requested. I did want their FB01 31mm toroidal shape which was my request but this could only be built as disc brake only so I settled on the DX28 which is rim brake compatible. So full specs as follows: Depth Solid disc wheel toroidal design Rim width outer 28mm Internal 22mm Widest point 29 mm (toroid). Engraved brake track Specified weight ~1050g Measured weight 1023g I chose their standard hub which spins fine and still smooth. Finish is very nice in the matt UD and there are also nice seals on the hub end caps which I know some hubs don't have. I haven't noticed any issues with runout and everything still appears very true. The wheel seems solid/stiff and the ratchet is loud! So far I've ridden 2 x 90k tt, 1 x 80k tt, 40km TT plus 80km or so warmup and the wheel has held up well and still like new. Feels very fast with the conti GP5000 S TR and TT TR 28c tire set up as tubeless and running ~67psi, S TR measures ~30mm and TT TR measures ~31mm. So arguably the S TR is a little more aero on this wheel. I was first in my age group off the bike in IM70.3 Melbourne on a windy course so the wheel is definitely fast as I am no power house on the bike. If I change up to a disc brake TT bike I will be definitely contacting them again as these wheels are great value and fit for purpose. I definitely recommend you contact them if you are on a budget.

I've been running one of these for a couple of months. It's well made and works well but it's not 24g. Mine saved me 19g compared to an RD-R8150 rear derailleur cage. If you can find one you'll save more by fitting a 2nd hand Dura Ace cage.

I have 2 of them from Goldix (black one) and they've been solid at. Great cassettes

I got this Elita One saddle. The 3139B. Almost the same shape as my Prologo NDR, which is what I was looking for. Slightly more pronounced lengthwise curve. Sharp edges where the nylon base connects to the padding. Had to cut down to protect bibs. Padding is just right so far. Looks nice, not as nice as a Mixed 5D but has no seam that presses into thighs and is as flat as I need it to be.

I got a pair of long bib tights from Darevie. I am 193cm tall and weigh 85kg. Size XXL. They are long enough and the legs are nicely tight. The straps could be a bit shorter. They are very much too large around the belly; had to take about cm in and they are still a bit too loose. They are made from a slightly thicker and windproof material in the front and lighter and more breathable material in the back. Blocks out wind and road spray efficiently. Quite warm, I don’t think I would ride in them over 10 degrees. Good down to -8 at least. The pad is ok for winter rides which are shorter for me.

Ich (172cm, 82cm SL, 71kg) hatte mir die Ykywbike Bib bestellt. Qualität gut, nicht schlechter als meine wesentlich teureren Bibs, das Polster ist super. Insgesamt sehr komfortabel. Aber: Viel zu kurze Beinlänge. Etwa 5cm zu kurz. Dadurch für mich leider nichts. Ich fahre die in Zukunft unter einer ungepolsterten langen Bib im Winter. Auf die Beinlänge habe ich dummerweise nicht geachtet beim Kauf. Ich probiere eine andere Ykywbike Hose aus.

Die Brillen sind bei mir Verschleißmaterial, ich schmeiße die immer mal runter und eine anständige Brille landet natürlich immer auf dem Glas. Eine der beiden hat den optischen Clip schon drin auf dem Foto. Den hab ich letztes Frühjahr gewagt und das war mit eine der besten Entscheidungen für meine Augen. Ich habe ziemlich einfache optische Werte und kenne dazu meine Pupillendistanz. Ob das jetzt bei komplizierten Korrekturwerten auch hinhaut, kann ich natürlich nicht sagen.

I just bought and installed a Ryet OSPW. The quality Looks good but I experiance chainrub when I am in the gear 53/30 or 36/30 (with 11-30 cassette). as soon as I get one cog lower the rubbing gets less and disappears when I am on the 3rd/4th cog (from the top).

I have the same problem, they rub so hard that I punctured the bibs (too bad they were the best I had ahaha) I then solved it with this saddle which despite a fall holds up very well

Recently tried three different cheap AliX Saddles for my "somewhat modern progressive forward fit" bike. Each about 40 Euros. Two 3D Printed Selle-SMP Copies: Elita One - 255x140mm-3DEX Really liked both SMP copies a lot! About as comfy as my old original Selle SMP. But not quite as ugly and way lighter. Ended up keeping the Goldix version as it has a bit wider front an nicer middle channel. Recommend both!

Two 3D Printed Selle-SMP Copies: GOLDIX PS-GLAXY 3D Really liked both SMP copies a lot! About as comfy as my old original Selle SMP. But not quite as ugly and way lighter. Ended up keeping the Goldix version as it has a bit wider front an nicer middle channel. Recommend both!

I recently tried three different cheap AliX Saddles for my 'somewhat modern progressive forward fit' bike. Each about 40 Euros. One of them might be right for you... And the BALUGOE TT (non carbon version). Dont know which saddle this is a clone of. The TT-Saddle copy was very weird at first and is very short!. After tilting it quite a bit and pushing it very far forward it was pretty good in a aero position, but not nearly as nice in any other position. So I would rather go for the SMP Copies which allowed me to roll and open my hips way better.

I have this in two bikes. It's the best saddle I've ever had. One has 6500km, and the second one has 2500km. After 6500 material is not perfect, its in my winter bike so maybe this was the issue. But with this price, I can replace it without pain.
