Anfangs hatte er Schwierigkeiten mit der Passform, da es selbst mit einem 140-mm-Vorbau zu kurz war, aber nachdem er seine Bike-Fit-Philosophie überdacht hatte – Sattel 1,5–2 cm nach vorne, Cleats nach hinten und Sattel 5–6 mm tiefer – erreichte er eine komfortable und effiziente Position. Er lobt die Leistung des Bikes und vergleicht es positiv mit seinem Tarmac SL8 Pro, wobei er die ausgewogene Geschmeidigkeit, Reaktionsfreudigkeit und Tretlagersteifigkeit hervorhebt. Er betrachtet es als sein Hauptrad und plant, seine Sammlung zu verkleinern. Das Rahmenset kostet etwa 1.900 $ mit Lackierung und integriertem Cockpit und wiegt unter 1000 g für ein Aero-Bike.
