This Lightpro chain ring has been on my commuter for about three years now. It's seen two replacement chains and shows no sign of wear so far. Solid.

So here's my followup on the Thinkrider X2 i ordered for my brother. The price was 277,69€ using a choice day coupon. Shipping took only four days from Madrid to my address in germany. The parcel wasn't damaged or anything and the trainer was well packaged. I was actually surprised by the fact that there was an english manual. All the necessary adapters for through axle or quick release are included. The only thing that seems a little cheap is the power supply. If i compare it's weight to the one of my kickr core i can't imagine it will be the same quality. So if i had to guess one thing that will fail on this thing it's the power supply but that should be replaceable fairly easy. Apart from that the build quality looks and feels solid. The base is attached by four screws and seems solid. I calibrated the trainer using the Thinkrider app which worked like on the kickr. I did two rides on the trainer, one relaxed zone 2 ride in erg mode and one ride up alpe du zwift (on 50% trainer difficulty). The only real difference i noticed between the x2 and my kickr core is that the x2 leans slightly more to left and right, which isn't a bad thing in my opinion. ERG mode was really smooth and the resistance adjustments were fast. Resistance up alpe du zwift also seemed realistic. This is absolutely not an in depth review, i just did some test rides before my brother picked it up. But so far it really felt like a great alternative to the kickr. With the right deals you can get it for half the price of the kickr which is insane. The only questions are longevity and warranty if something fails, only time will give answers to these. Apart from these two questions it's a great cheaper alternative to the kickr core. I kinda regret not going for the x2 myself and saving 230€. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Hey mate, I have a Riro at the 50/34 chainring. Has around 500km on it so far, so I cant comment on longevity. No issues installing, I do have a T47-79BB.

Best value ever for lights + dual color (red/white) lights, incredibly cheap, versatile, tough, easily replaceable when "long-term borrowed" - micro usb, the bracket favors broader seatposts

Decent Garmin/GoPro mount + cheap, aluminum - strange L form instead of a streamlined direct I form (there are those variants for 3-4x, had noticed them too late), bolts provided are not stainless

Useful bell + small but noisy, can be placed on/in the hoods - has to be torqued from time to time

Decent handlebar bag + sturdy, survived 1200+km tour holding wet tent and sometimes saving the content from the rain, reasonable price - bit flimsy to set up (has a tendency to lean on the side with more weight on)

Bike carry case + reasonable price, fits larger frames without the need to remove the rear wheel - does not cover the bottom, therefore the shoulder strap has to be connected to the top tube making the whole setup unwieldy

I can wholeheartedly recommend it. I’ve been using it for around 6.000km now and it’s been holding up just fine. I’m also using the SROAD version in 11-32 12sp for almost 10k km. No problems. The rainbow finish hasn’t even worn off. I’m waxing my chain and stay on top of chain wear. I’m very pleasantly surprised.

I’ve been using the 11 & 12 speed varieties from RiderAce with good luck.

real world exp. here... mounted on my gravel Niner RDO 46/30 ... 11-34/11sp (edubied monoblock) absolute no glitches whatsoever...it just works, now since May! Yes, setup isnt for the 'faint-hearted' but hey...its still fun...from what i saw, they updated some of the setup instructions/videos. App design still quite the same...which is a bit...weird... and whats really amazing..you can finetune each cog if needed...e.g. range of 11sp cass...gives you around 0-1800 index units in the App so for every step you have roughly 180 IU to play with...to give you an example how much micro fine tune is possible. it also has autotune for the FD... and FD is my only complain...being not as powerful under load for shifting.

I also bought Easedon 50mm deep (rim brake) wheelset. Ordered 12th September and received on 10th October. I don't have many miles (90 miles) as it's raining here but can describe my purchase experience etc. I bought them after Jonathan posted about it few days ago. The price was right, which was my main draw. The communication was okay as it typically goes with Chinese customer service with some funny phrases but can't complain there. As usual they over promised and told me the wheels will be ready in 10 to 12 business days and you should definitely upgrade to FedEx shipping for $10 which I did. That upgrade is well worth it. The wheels took almost 3 weeks before they were finally shipped. But once shipped it only took 4 days to reach my doorstep in Seattle. Packaged well. Wheels didn't have any scratches, loose fibers or any such flaws. I opted for glossy finish and weight was 1340 grams (they advertised 1330 +/- 30 grams). The glossy finish is excellent and wheels look terrific in the sun. The hubs are Goldiex 180SL and super loud rear freehub (ratchet style). Out of the box, they are true and straight. No branding on them. On the road they feel fast, and stiff. A definite improvement over Rolf Prima Elans I had earlier. Braking performance is okay, may be I need to change the pads but that may not apply to you. Overall it was a good experience really. I might order another set from them 11.11.

Get these: The variant that fits your brakes is BP045. These are excellent in every way and are not phased by water. I use them on all my bikes.

Picked up the Mixed 5D saddle recently. I have about 100 miles on it this week and I gotta say, this thing is awesome!

I don’t have any rides over 2 hours on it yet but I don’t see longer rides being a problem, although it is slightly firmer than I usually prefer, it’s shaped just about perfectly for my build and riding posture.

I've mentioned this base layer on the Chinese cycling clothes thread, but I'll drop them here. I'm a big fan of these inner mesh tank tops. They're cheap and effective at wicking away sweat on hot days and keeping me a bit warmer when temperatures drop. On Pick 3, they're less than $3 USD a pop.
