Sidebike carbon cycle shoes from AliExpress VS Fizik R5. Both cost £90, but which is the better buy?

I have ALWAYS wanted a pair of carbon fibre cycle shoes, but the cost from the big brands like Specialised, Sidi, or Fizik is a bit too much for me. You can easily pay upwards of £200 for a pair, so when I saw a set of carbon road bike shoes from a brand called Sidebike on AliExpress, I had to give them a go.
They cost £90 and have a fully carbon fibre outsole. So as a result, they’re lightweight, and super stiff. Plus they look amazing, have a great lacing system (called Atop), and feel really comfortable to ride in!
BUT how to they compare to my previous favourites, the Fizik Tempo R5 overcurve shoes?
Well after using them for the last 2000 miles, I’ll give you my verdict!
