iGPSPORT BSC300T GPS Color Touch Screen Cycling Computer Review - feat. Garmin Mount + Segments

iGPSPORT’s BSC lineup of computers are affordable and compact cycling computers tailored that offer options for new cyclists to experienced cyclists. The BSC300T is the latest addition to the lineup and adds a touch screen to the previous top-of-the-line BSC300 model. iGPSPORT has also taken the opportunity to improve the user interface and integrate some additional features as well as e-bike support. Retail price for the BSC300T is a competitive $149.90 which is actually lower than the BSC300’s original price. The computer retains its 2.4” color touch screen with a 320x240 resolution. iGPSPORT has also added their Strava’s Live Segment alternative which displays real-time offline performance on segments created on the iGSPORT app.

On the backside of the iGPSPORT BSC300T you’ll find a Garmin mount molded into the body. Unlike the more expensive iGSPORT iGS800 which has a metal Garmin puck, the BSC300T is plastic with the familiar two tab design that locks into place. It’s a simple and effective mount design that works with a wide variety of third-party mounts and one of our favorites. The only computer comes with a basic plastic handlebar mount with two o-ring setup that can be placed on a stem or handlebar. We’d highly recommend using an out-front mount like the Topeak UTF or Trek’s Blendr mounts instead to place the computer directly in front of the stem for optimal viewing angle.

Visually, the iGPSPORT BSC300T looks almost identical to the BSC300 with a compact body and slim profile. The computer is only 82 x 53 x 14.5mm in size and has a relatively small 2.4” screen. iGPSPORT has updated some of the branding and tweaked the plastic body to give it a sleeker appearance by using smooth beveled edges and little details like the textured edge. iGPSPORT has added faux carbon fiber around the screen and a semi-gloss black finish to give the computer a premium appearance. To simplify the appearance, there are no button labels on the screen face, instead you have a small iGPSPORT logo, BSC300T along the side and iGPSPORT printed on the front edge of the computer.
