X-Lab RS7 test reveals a few quirks but overall killer value
The Ride with Ben Delaney

Sure, it’s a great value, but how does the X-Lab RS7 all-road bike ride?
Well, generally quite good - relatively lightweight carbon bike made with high quality Toray carbon with carbon wheels for $2k is a pleasant surprise. It handles well, with a comfortable ride and touch points at the cockpit and stock saddle.
I did find a couple issues, but both can be remedied. Specifically, the bar tape gets slippery when wet, and the power meter readings fluctuate pretty wildly.
For a bike billed as all-road, 32mm is slim pickings.
UPDATES: X-Lab improved the power-meter readings with a firmware update in mid August, and reworded its website description of the bike to remove all-road references.

And, as many of you have noted, just a few weeks after launching in the spring they were already out of stock, and remain so for many models.
Still, a 105 bike with a power meter and carbon frame, wheels, etc for $2k? That’s a screaming deal. And one you can get in a bike shop in the U.S. Currently this brand has no equal on pricing. Period.
I took this all-road bike on one of my all-time favorite all-road rides - up Old Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain National Park and then down Trail Ridge Road.
Come along for the ride as I walk you through my experience with this bike.
