Chinese Carbon Price With Western Quality? - Nova Wheelset From Nepest

As a working bike mechanic and YouTuber, I’m in the privileged position of seeing a lot of carbon wheels. And what I’m seeing, is something has changed.

Right now, Chinese carbon wheel manufacturers are standing at a fork in the road. Some choosing to continue down this path of making £250 wheels to flog on AliExpress. Whilst others are now building low-volume, high-end, almost bespoke products that rival the biggest Western brands.

In this video, I take a look at the new NOVA wheelset from the small premium Chinese wheelset manufacturer, Nepest. They come in various sizes from 35mm, through to 66mm. And they do mullet sizing too. The ones they’ve sent me are the 45’s
