Winspace SLC 3.0 2000km later... Great Bike - No wonder FIAT's are crap

The Winspace frame? Genuinely impressive. Stiff, responsive :-), accelerates well :-), well finished, basically everything you want in a high performance chassis. But then… enter the unholy trinity of FSA, Acros, and a bearing supplier apparently selected via dartboard. What could possibly go wrong, right? Spoiler: everything.

What followed was a textbook example of how to turn a well engineered product into a QA horror show. To be fair, Winspace themselves acted fast and took care of me, no complaints there. But the response from the component side, the bit that actually caused the problem? As an engineer, I can only describe it as a masterclass in shrugging and finger pointing. It would be funny if it weren’t so avoidable.

***I would point out that I'm not sure if this is FSA at fault (although their answer wasn't great), Acros at fault (I don't engage with engineers in baseball caps or hoodies) or the bearing supplier (I'm not sure who that is). Ultimately it's winspace that supplied the goods and they sorted it out super quick but I think the root lies in their component supplier***
