Budget AliExpress Rim Brake Wheels - Mavic Cosmic Aluminum Real or Fake?

I jumped on a set of rim brake wheels from AliExpress. They're aluminum 40mm deep wheels that have Mavic written all over them. Thoroughly impressed at the price point, as rim brake wheels and affordable ones are hard to find these days. They looks like carbon wheels without the carbon wheel pricepoint.
